Is the only wholesome beauty competition with a cause and substance, its main thrust is to disseminate information about environmental awareness, care and love for Mother Earth. As a teen and kids competition, it also concerns about young
women; reproductive health, child trafficking and prostitution, harmful effects of prohibited drugs and alcohol and more
importantly how to become responsible citizens at a very young age.
Miss Teen Earth Philippines aims to guide and provide teenagers with ready-hand information regarding their inherent rights
and choices but with utmost responsibility such as preventing early teenage pregnancy and marriage. This can be realized
by having a female youth representative or spokeswoman who epitomizes good character, spiritually and morally upright, social aware and has the ability to fight and protect Mother Earth.
Miss Teen Earth Philippines and Little Miss Teen Earth Philippines provides young women and little kids opportunities through proper mentoring, educational and career training, resources for further learning especially about life experiences. The organizers suport these young women and little kids through various projects and activities, eco-waste seminars, outreach programs, charitable works and socio-cultural participation.
The title-holder of Miss Teen Earth Philippines and Little Miss Earth Philippines exemplify the merging of beauty and brain that defines the millennium young women who are globally competitive and have wider perspective of the world.
Both the Miss Teen Earth Philippines and Little Miss Earth Philippines are uniquely diverse from other beauty contests since it does not include any bikini or swim wear in the competition proper, but as an alternative it has a "Summer & Sport Wear" competition. It is also concerned in the environment through the cultural costumes which are made primarily of recyclable or recycled materials and other indigenous materials out of our natural resources.
Both Miss Teen Earth and Little Miss Earth are duly registered trademarks 2007 in Philippine Intellectual Office and Philippine Copyright 2005, through its Founder, Mr. Ferdinand B. Custodio.
